Alma Pauleth is an accomplished performer with a rich background in theatre, film, and musical theatre. Her journey in the performing arts is marked by versatility and dedication, as showcased through her diverse array of roles and experiences.
Alma Pauleth's theatre career includes standout performances such as her role as Win in "Scratching the Surface" at the Artemisia Fall Festival 2018, under the direction of Rachel Sledd Iannantuoni. She also portrayed Nena in "Santos and Santos" with The Loop Players and was part of the ensemble cast for "La Carne Asada" during Destinos 2023, directed by Vanessa Garcia.
Alma Pauleth's film experience includes her role as a bar attendant in the independent film "Chicken Tuesdays," directed by Brandon Daley, where she brought her character to life with authenticity and charm.
Her musical theatre repertoire is extensive, featuring roles such as Consuelo Hernandez in "El Grande de Coca Cola" in The Waterfront Café; in Tijuana, Roxie in "Chicago the Musical," Sally in "The Nightmare Before Christmas," and in Chess Live, Daniela in "El Nos Mintio." Alma is currently working as a dancer and choreographer in "Dracula: The Musical," showcasing her multifaceted talents in the performing arts.
As a lead singer, Alma Pauleth has graced stages such as Bookends and Beginnings in Evanston for the "Celebrating the Bardwell Scholars" events (2016, 2017, 2019). She has also performed at renowned venues like the House of Blues Chicago, Ruido Fest 2019, Bottom Lounge, Hard Rock Café, The Pour House Minneapolis, and Fiesta del Sol 2022. In July 2024, Alma showcased her vocal talents at the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, featuring “Fruko y sus Tesos”, captivating the audience with her dynamic performance.
Alma Pauleth's talents extend beyond the stage. She has performed as a dancer for the Fashion Show Opening in Los Angeles, CA, featuring singers Reyli Barba and Ricardo Antonio. Additionally, she represented the North Region of Mexico as a dancer with the National Jazz
Alma Pauleth has honed her skills through extensive training. She has taken private vocal lessons with Adrian Dunn (HoperaWorld) and Asim Allakim. Her vocal technique was refined at the Old Town School of Music under Rebecca Toon, and she received musical theatre training from Mary Peterson, Jeff Gandy, and Cathy Norden. Alma's dance education includes ballet, contemporary, modern, and jazz at Visceral Dance Studio, jazz at Joffrey Ballet, and ballet, contemporary, and tap at Lou Conte Studio. She also studied musical theatre tap at Porchlight Music Theatre and ballet and jazz at Fresno City College. Additionally, she completed three contemporary dance certification programs at Lux Boreal Dance Company in Tijuana, Mexico.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Alma Pauleth possesses a range of skills including singing, dancing, and a high level of fitness. She has a basic proficiency in French and has been recognized as the Best Dancer at the Contemporary Dance International Festival Cuerpos en Tránsito 2008, an honor awarded by Cesar Delgado. Alma was also honored as the Female Voice Revelation 2022 by the Latino Awards Chicago, further cementing her reputation as a remarkable talent in the performing arts.
